Build your family’s learn-to-play routine.

Have your parent device and your child’s iPhone or iPad ready. Follow the videos to prepare Apple Family Sharing, choose the apps and ratio, then connect your child’s device.

Requires iOS or iPadOS 17.6 or later. Each child uses one paired device.

  1. Prepare Apple Family

    Have your child’s Apple Account and Screen Time ready.

  2. Choose your family’s rule

    Select Learning Apps, Play Apps and a learning-to-play ratio.

  3. Connect the child’s device

    Join your family with a QR code or code and complete Screen Time setup.

Also available in L2P 1.1.0: open What is L2P? or Guides & Videos on the welcome screen, or Parent Mode → Settings → Guides & Videos. Watching is optional; Continue as Parent takes you to sign-in without watching a video.
